Since summer is drifting away I thought I better post the things we were up too. It's been a little low key but we still had a lot going on.
We had another Family Reunion for the Haymore's. It was so much fun seeing everyone and family I haven't even met before. It took place at Matt's parents house. At one point there were about 75 people there at one given time so the house was at breaking point but it was great! There could have been more because people came and went as they pleased. I love big families!
We missed Grandma Haymore and everyone that couldn't make it. Matt couldn't come to all of it because he had Woodbadge during the same week but he was able to be there for Saturday evening and Sunday before everyone went home and we took some family pictures.
Evan is a stinker when it comes to pictures all of a sudden. He always says "too scared" so we were lucky to get the ones we got of him in the group shots.
Alex had no problem :).
The boys and I got to visit Matt one one of the nights he was at Woodbadge. Grandpa Thompson came with us as well. Matt was having a lot of fun and we had fun spending time with him. We didn't pull the camera out much but here are some pictures up there with him
Matt and his patrol (The Beavers) made this flag. They did a great job so I had to put it up. It even had teeth.
Other than playing on the swings we had dinner, swam in the pool and dug up Artifacts. We were supposed to dig up dinosaur bones but as a joke we dug up a human skeleton instead.
We hiked the Grotto with our good friends, Weston, Chantel and their two kids. It was a perfect day to go and a pretty hike as always.
The guys carried the little ones up for us and than we switched.
Evan and Braxton had a lot of fun in the water even though it was freezing!
Matt and Weston hiked to the top of the falls and after taking pictures of them from below, they took pictures of us from the top.
We went at the beginning of August with them but we also went toward the end of August with some of my Family. It was colder so we couldn't stay and play in the water long but it was still a fun trip.
