Happy Anniversary!

It was our 2nd Anniversary on Monday. We were taken out to lunch by Matt's parents to Red Lobster. It was an enjoyable lunch. Everyone had fish of course but I got the Chicken Alfredo. Later on in the evening, Evan was being watched over why Matt and I re-created our first date. It was just as fun as the first time it happened.

3 Months Old!!

We took him to get his pictures taken at JC Penny earlier this month. All his pictures were so good that it was so hard to pick. I ended up spending more money than planned because I couldn't choose. The girls that took his pictures couldn't believe he was 3 months because he was so good. We picked up his pictures today. I'm posting 2 of the 5 poses we got. The other is a 10x16 with 3 pictures in one so it was hard to scan. Here's our little Peanut, all grown up!

Evan slept through the night!!!

Since Matt is out of town, I thought I would let him cry for 5 mins before picking him up. Well, he lasted 4 mins and fell asleep. The second time he woke up he did the same thing. Night two was like the 1st night. Last night, night 3, he never woke up! I just hope this lasts!

BYU Basketball

We took Evan to his first basketball game a couple days ago. He loved watching the big screen. He just wouldn't look at the camera.

New Toys

2 Months old today!!


We moved him to his own room since he's just down the hall from us. Hopefully he will start sleeping through the night this way. He's such a happy content little boy. Matt and I are so blessed. He loves watching TV with his dad.

Happy New Year!

We spent the New Year with our friends Amy, Austin and my brother Nathan. Elizabeth was out of town visiting her family in San Diego. We started out with having dinner that Nathan made. He was returning the favor since we made him dinner the other night. After dinner we started watching the Indiana Jones Trilogy. Nathan went to bed after the first one. I don't blame him. I wanted to go to bed after I put Evan down for the night. I waited it out so I could drink to the New Year with Sparkling Apple Cider and get the wonderful New Years kisses from Matt. I ended up going to bed shortly after so I wouldn't be too tired when Evan woke up for his feedings. Amy and Austin stayed over till all the movies were over. What troopers! It was two or three in the morning when Evan woke up and they were just leaving.

Merry Christmas!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas! It was a memorable one even though some of our plans fell through. We had plans to go to the Glover Christmas Eve party but there was such a horrible storm so we stayed home. We didn't want to risk an accident with a new born. I hope my family forgives us. Since Evan is still waking up twice a night, Matt had a great idea to open our presents Christmas Eve. I didn't want to at first but I agreed in the end because I liked that we could sleep in so we can enjoy our family later on the next day. I got Evan ready for the night and we had our Christmas a day early.

Since Evan wasn't old enough to open his gifts, we just left them open.

One gift was wrapped and that was from Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Nathan.


When we were in California, our Aunt had this swing. We had a swing already for Evan but he hated being in it. He ended up loving this swing so we had to get it for him. He loves the mobile.

We left stockings till Christmas morning. This is the first time Evan smiled so big and we caught it on camera.

He's just as big as his stocking!!

The rest of the day we spent it with both families. It's nice having our parents living next door to each other. Since Evan is the first grandchild on both sides, he was obviously spoiled with toys.

Photo Shoot

A friend from the ward took photos of Evan for us. This was a baby shower gift. She got a few good shots of him. Since we didn't get pictures of him in his blessing outfit, I had her take a few. Grandma Felt gave this outfit to us so we had to take some since she wasn't able to make it to the blessing.


We just had to get him in his Cougar outfit. I wish she got a long view of it but I guess they didn't turn out. His shirt says "You are Lookin at One Cute Cougar" and my mom gave it to us. My sister Ericka made the blanket.

Since its Christmas she took Christmas pictures.
